GFRC Panels for Albany Resort
Building Blocks designed and manufactured 230 GFRC panels (29,000 sqft) for the Albany resort in the Bahamas. These mega panels are designed as a rainscreen system with the largest panels measuring 440 SF. We limited the panels to only four connections due to the challenges of constructing these blind connections on a structure that has three degrees of curvature. Because of the high wind loads in the Carribean, the panel design followed the requirements of our Miami-Dade NOA certification.
